But getting down to business, I’m writing up this post to let you all know the future of this ask blog. A couple days ago I gave a lot of thought on what I wanted to do with this blog and how I’d continue or start it over. Sadly, it all lead to a conclusion I’m sure none of you’d want to hear and it easy for me to admit but I can’t keep denying it: I can’t bring myself to continue Dom Cadance. I’m done with it. I don’t have the same interest or spark of motivation I had years ago, and I’ve wanted to move on to other things.
However, I couldn’t bare to just close this blog down and disappoint thousands of followers. After giving it more thought I remembered a part of Dom Cadance that I’d yet to explore on here before going on the hiatus, and a character I looked forward to introducing but never got to: Cadance’s assistant and advisor, Lavender Quill! Who you saw a bit of in the last update. Which was 2 years ago…
So I’ve decided that once I start this blog back up again, I’ll reboot it to Ask Lavender Quill, and have the focus be on her and her connection to the Crystal Empire and its history (and her relationship with the past and present rulers). Before you worry that this’ll be the end of Dom Cadance and her shenanigans, fear not! For she and Shining Armor will still be around, and you’ll still get some good BDSM art from time to time, it just won’t be the primary focus. The story will mainly be from Lavender’s point of view. If you’re still not satisfied with my decision, I’m sorry but this is the only way I can see myself continuing this blog at all.
Like I mentioned before, if you contribute to my Patreon, just a few dollars a month, you’ll get some nice benefits from it. Aside from BDSM pin ups I’m planning to make, I’ll also put up plenty of exclusive content like concept art, wallpaper and whatever you’d be willing to put money into. I’m open to suggestions on content and pledge rewards. One reward I have in mind will involve giving ponysona cameos or minor roles to those pledging $30 or more a month.
TL;DR - This blog will become Ask Lavender Quill once it starts up again, but you’ll still get plenty of Dom Cadance and Shining and bondage goodness. And more!

Incase you haven’t been following my mod blog, I’ve been trying to get commissions for a long while and doing everything I can to promote myself, I’ve even opened up a store on Redbubble, yet I’ve had no luck. What I haven’t mentioned before publicly is that I don’t have a lot of time before I won’t be under my dad’s insurance anymore once I turn 26 (which will be in less than two months). For a long while I’ve considered setting up a Patreon in the hopes of getting a more steady income of money, but I haven’t been sure of what content to put on it that I could get out on a consistent basis.
That’s where you guys come in. I want to know if I get myself a Patreon would any of you be interested in pitching in and giving me support if one of the things I posted on it was pony or Dom Cadance related art, pin ups, and maybe even updates if there’s enough money supporting it? I’d also include rewards for patrons paying $5 a month or more, like requested drawings, wallpaper and maybe even some NSFW art.

((Mod: Hey everyone… Long time no see. Sorry this blog’s been pretty much dead for over a year, but I’ve been unable to decide what to do with this blog. I haven’t had the same motivation for ponies I used to, but I’d hate for this blog to die before it really even got to the first story arc. And these last few months have been pretty bad for me. If you want to know more on that I made a post about two weeks ago explaining, but for now I just want to have something to give you guys, all 1K plus followers who’ve stuck by and the new followers despite the long inactivity here.
This pic was meant to be done for Valentines Day back in 2014, but I never got around to inking the sketch, until a few months ago. I wanted something to post here for this occasion since it was this Valentines Day pic I made all the way back in 2013 that inspired and eventually lead to this blog, and all the friends I’ve made thanks to this blog.
Anyway, thanks to all of the followers that are still here, I’m sorry about the inactivity here, after I get my problems sorted out I’ll decide what to do with this blog. It’s too good to just let it die.
Hey everyone. I’ve given this some thought for a while, and I’m deciding now to, for the first time, start taking commissions! I’ve hesitated before, but recently something’s come up and I’d like to start earning myself some money from my art. I’m opening commissions for both hexafusions and pony lovechild designs.
For pony lovechild commissions:
- Each one is the price listed but any pony added will cost an extra $2
- If you have a preferred cutiemark and/or name in mind for the lovechild let me know
For overall commissions:
- Paypal only, and no sending payment as gifts (read this to know why)
- If you’d like to get a commission from me send a message through my tumblr here, tell me which one you want, and I’ll tell you my Paypal
- Send me payment first and I’ll get right to work on your commission
With the rules out of the way, anyone who’d like one of these commissions please let me know. I know not everyone has the money to buy commissions, so if you can’t buy do consider reblogging this. This is a big step for me to potentially earn money or even make a living off my art. If this goes well I might open up other commissions in the future.
